We open NHL predictions with the surprising Columbus Blue Jackets visiting the Dallas Stars. The Blue Jackets will go with Elvis Merzlikins in goal. Columbus is 7-2-1 in the last 10 games and have taken its last three games entering this matchup. Kent Johnson been averaging nearly a point a game with four goals and five assists over the past 10 games.
Jake Oettinger is the expected starter for the Stars. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Dallas has been playing pretty well in its own right with a 6-4 mark in its last 10. This includes four straight victories entering this game. Wyatt Johnston has been red-hot as of late with four goals and nine assists over the last 10 games.
Both teams are playing well, but Dallas gets the win at home.
Prediction: Stars win 4-3.
Vegas Golden Knights vs New York Rangers
Head-to-Head: Golden Knights 0-1 Rangers
Time: 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: MSG; Scripps Vegas; Sportsnet; SN 360; ESPN+
Our second game of NHL predictions has the Vegas Golden Knights taking on the New York Rangers. Vegas is projected to go with Adin Hill in goal for this matchup. The Knights are 3-4-3 in the last 10 games and have two consecutive losses. Tomas Hertl has been playing well as of late with nine goals and five assists over the last 10 games.
New York is likely to go with Jonathan Quick in the blue paint for this game. The Rangers are 5-3-2 in the last 10 games, but have dropped the last three games. J.T. Miller had a Broadway revival with two goals on Saturday. However, the Rangers were beaten soundly by the Boston Bruins.
Both clubs are struggling, but the Knights have just a bit more talent on paper.
Prediction: Golden Knights win 4-2.
Detroit Red Wings vs Vancouver Canucks
Head-to-Head: Red Wings 0-1 Canucks
Time: 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: Fan Duel Sports Detroit; SN Pacific; ESPN+
The last game of NHL predictions has the Red Wings taking on the Canucks in a pivotal matchup for both teams. Detroit is expected to start Alex Lyon in goal for this matchup. The Red Wings are 6-3-1 in the last 10 games, including five straight victories. Team captain Dylan Larkin has been lighting it up with 23 goals and 26 assists for Detroit.
Vancouver is projected to go with Kevin Lankinen in goal for this game. The Canucks are 5-5 in the last 10 games and did win in its last game. Vancouver’s captain Quinn Hughes has scored 14 goals with 45 assists for the club.
Detroit has been great since Todd McLellan took over behind the bench. That roll should continue.
Prediction: Red Wings 4-3.

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go to our last game for some of our props. For Detroit, go with Lucas Raymond to get the over on 0.5 points. On the Vancouver side, take Brock Boeser to score a goal in this one.
