Utah Hockey Club vs Washington Capitals
Head-to-Head: Utah HC 0-1 Capitals
Time: 12:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

We open NHL predictions with the Utah Hockey Club visiting the Washington Capitals. Utah is expected to start Connor Ingram in goal for this game. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Utah HC is coming into this game with a 4-4-2 mark in the last 10 games. Clayton Keller leads the team in goals (20), assists (39) and points (59) for Utah.
Logan Thompson is the projected starter for the Capitals, who are 7-1-2 coming into this game. This includes two consecutive victories for the Metropolitan Division leaders. Alex Ovechkin is the team’s leader in goals with 26. However, Dylan Strome is tops in assists (37) and points (52).
Washington is going into the break with a victory.
Prediction: Capitals win 4-2.
Tampa Bay Lightning vs Montreal Canadiens
Head-to-Head: Lightning 0-2 Canadiens
Time: 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: NHL Network; Fan Duel Sports Sun; TSN2
The last game of NHL predictions is the featured matchup between the Lightning and Canadiens. Andrei Vasilevskiy is the expected starter for Tampa Bay, which is 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. However, the Lightning have won three straight games entering this matchup. Brayden Point has great so far this season with 30 goals and 27 assists for Tampa Bay.
Jakub Dobes is the confirmed starter for Montreal, which is 3-6-1 in the last 10 games. This includes two straight defeats entering this last game before the break. Both Montreal and Tampa Bay are coming off games on Saturday night. Nick Suzuki has scored 15 goals with 37 assists for the Habs.
It’ll be a tough game to gauge with both teams playing the day before. However, Tampa Bay will go into the break with a win.
Prediction: Lightning win 4-2.
