New Jersey Devils vs Philadelphia Flyers
Head-to-Head: Devils 0-1 Flyers
Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

We open NHL predictions with a Metropolitan Division matchup between the New Jersey Devils versus Philadelphia Flyers. New Jersey is slated to go with Jake Allen in goal for this one. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Devils are 4-3-3 in the last 10 games and have won two in a row. Jack Hughes has been averaging a point a games as of late with four goals with seven assists over the last 10 games.
Samuel Ersson is the projected starter in the crease for the Flyers, who are 5-4-1 in the last 10 games. However, Philadelphia has lost the last two games in a row entering this matchup. Owen Tippett is putting together with a strong season of 14 goals with 16 assists for the Flyers.
The Devils are doing fine without Jacob Markstrom and should get a win.
Prediction: Devils win 4-2.
Los Angeles Kings vs Detroit Red Wings
Head-to-Head: Kings 1-0 Red Wings
Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: Fan Duel Sports Detroit X; Fan Duel Sports West; NHL Network
The second game of our NHL predictions has the Los Angeles Kings visiting the Detroit Red Wings. Los Angeles is expected to go with Darcy Kuemper in the blue paint for this game. The Kings are 5-4-1 coming into this game, but lost the last time on ice. Adrian Kempe has 24 goals and 20 assists for the Kings and also scored twice in the first meeting of the season.
For Detroit, Cam Talbot is slated to get the call in goal. The Red Wings are 6-3-1 in the last 10 games and have two straight victories. Detroit has inserted itself back into the Stanley Cup Playoff conversation with the hiring of Todd McLellan as head coach. Marco Kasper has come on strong as of late with five goals and three assists over the last 10 games.
Detroit is playing better as of late, but Los Angeles gets the edge in this one.
Prediction: Kings win 4-3.
Seattle Kraken vs Edmonton Oilers
Head-to-Head: Kraken 0-1 Oilers
Time: 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
TV: SN West; KHN; KONG; ESPN+
The last and featured game of NHL predictions has the Oilers hosting the Kraken in a Pacific Division matchup. Seattle is likely to go with Joey Daccord in goal for this game. The Kraken are 5-5 in the last 10 games, but they are coming off a victory over the weekend. Jaden Schwartz has been one of the bright spots with 16 goals and 17 assists for Seattle.
Edmonton is expected to get a big lift in its lineup with the return of Connor McDavid from suspension. Calvin Pickard has been in-form and should get the start tonight for the Oilers, who are 7-3 in the last 10 games. This also includes a pair of victories during McDavid’s suspension. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has quietly put together another strong season of 15 goals and 16 assists for Edmonton.
The return of McDavid should help the Oilers continue their rolls.
Prediction: Oilers win 5-2.
Prop Bets of the Night
We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go to our featured game in this one. For Seattle, take Chandler Stephenson to get the over on 0.5. As for Edmonton, take McDavid to score in his return to the lineup.
