Yelverton didn’t get much playing time this past year as a redshirt sophomore. Before committing to Iowa, he was a three-star player in the class of 2020 and the No. 69 player in his home state (Texas).
He was also the No. 21 tight end recruit in the country and the No. 522 overall recruit, per 247Sports Composite.
Ince has chosen to step away from football after dealing with multiple injuries. He was going to be a senior going into this season.
Before committing to play at Iowa, Ince was a three-star recruit and the No. 7 player in his home state (Wisconsin). He was also the No. 79 OL recruit in the country, per 247Sports Composite.
We’ll have to see how head coach Kirk Ferentz replaces these players during spring practice.
