It’s been unclear how much longer Aaron Rodgers planned on playing in the National Football League, with many people speculating that he could retire relatively early.
However, that doesn’t appear to be happening..
This week, during an appearance on Pat McAfee’s NFL Draft show, Rodgers revealed that he plans on playing for several more years.
“I thought based on the number we offered Davante and being able to play with me for a few more years would definitely make a difference, but in the end he was ready to move on,” said Rodgers, who was speaking on Davante Adams’ departure from Green Bay.

Losing Davante Adams is tough, but getting Aaron Rodgers for a “few more years” is a pretty good prize for Packers fans.
“Rodgers seems to be taking this really well. I know losing Tae blows, but we still got the goat at QB,” one fan tweeted.
“This is why I think Adams left now. He didn’t want to be there when #12 left in a few years. Man the Broncos were right in trading for Russ,” another fan tweeted.
“Not gonna lie to you Adams had his mind made up last year after we lost to the Bucs. He looked unmotivated on the bench every time I seen him,” one fan added on Twitter.
