With three of the four No. 1 seeds eliminated from this year’s NCAA Tournament, it’s fair to say that brackets have been busting left and right through the first three rounds of March Madness action.
No. 1 seed Baylor fell to North Carolina in the Round of 32 and No. 1 Gonzaga fell to Arkansas in the Sweet Sixteen last night — leaving No. 2 Duke as the highest remaining seed on that side of the bracket.
During Friday’s episode of The Herd, Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd picked the Blue Devils to win the title.
After watching Coach K and his Duke squad take down No. 3 Texas Tech last night, Cowherd is ready to crown the ACC powerhouse as the eventual champions.
“All three levels of basketball — high school, college and pro. He’s a legend… I think Duke is going to win it.”

“They’ve got a point guard with experience, they have a rim protector, they have NBA wings and they have the best basketball coach arguably in the history of the world — and that includes the NBA.
“All three levels of basketball — high school, college and pro. He’s a legend… I think Duke is going to win it.”
Duke is set to face off against the No. 4-seed Arkansas Razorbacks in the Elite Eight.
