During the second day of the 2022 NFL Draft, FOX Sports radio host Colin Cowherd revealed which team has “crushed” this offseason. He believes the Denver Broncos have done an excellent job of rebuilding their roster.
“The Broncos have crushed this offseason,” Cowherd tweeted on Friday night. “Free agency and draft. Crushed it.”
For starters, the Broncos acquired Russell Wilson in a blockbuster trade with the Seattle Seahawks. They then signed a pair of notable defensive linemen in D.J. Jones and Randy Gregory.
Although the Broncos didn’t have a first-round pick in this year’s draft, they added a pair of potential-packed players on Day 2.
With the 64th pick, the Broncos selected Oklahoma edge rusher Nik Bonitto. He finished his college career with 118 total tackles, 33 tackles for loss, 19.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries.
The Broncos then selected UCLA tight end Greg Dulcich with the 83rd pick. Perhaps he’ll replace Noah Fant as the starting tight end in Denver.
The @Broncos have crushed this off season. Free agency and draft. Crushed it.

It’s certainly possible that Denver’s offseason acquisitions don’t live up to NFL fans’ expectations. We’ve seen star-studded rosters fall short in the past.
With that said, it’s easy to see why Cowherd is so impressed with the work the Broncos have done this offseason. They have legitimately added talent all across the board.
