Raiders fans are excited, but not getting carried away

Las Vegas Raiders fans gone through a lot and it never seems to stop.

There is constant change and ti always seems to be an emotional rollercoaster.

Times have changed, once again, as Raiders owner Mark Davis has hired a new head coach and a new general manager for the third time in three years as they have hired Pete Carroll and the head coach and John Spytek as the new general manager.

We used this week’s Tuesday Community Question to ask our community members how are the feeling about the current status of the franchise.

Understandably, it seems like fans are cautiously optimistic about the new era.

Relieved. Didn’t want another rookie HC and especially one that required total control and a massive contract. Not sure how Pete will ultimately work out in Vegas but I’m certain he’s an improvement over what has been the last 3 coaching cycles. I’ll always take the known quantity over the unknown.

At worst he’ll bring his winning culture and stabilize the franchise. At best, we’re in the playoffs year 1 (as he did in Seattle) and he makes another run for a SB down the line. Probably falls somewhere in the middle – but with a guy who’s had so much success its hard not to be optimistic.

Like with everything Raiders, wait and see. Despite what the fanboys say, this team has very little above average talent and a long way to go.

Regarding this I am in wait and see mode. Unfortunately getting my hopes up through the years have been for naught.
