It’s never too early to look ahead to the 2023 NFL Draft, even though the 2022 Draft is next month.
The 2023 NFL Draft will officially take place from Apr. 27-29 in Kansas City and one ESPN analyst already has a mock draft of the first three picks.
Field Yates doesn’t know the teams that will be picking these three players, but he has C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, and Will Anderson being picked in that order.
The 2023 NFL Draft in Kansas City will officially take place from April 27th-29th.
My mock draft:
1. Some team: C.J. Stroud
2. Some other team: Bryce Young
3. A third team: Will Anderson— Field Yates (@FieldYates) March 24, 2022
Stroud and Young are the two best quarterbacks in college football heading into next season and both look primed to be Heisman Trophy contenders again.
For Young, he’ll be trying to win the award for the second year in a row. He was the best quarterback in the country last season after he finished with 47 touchdowns and seven interceptions, plus threw for 4,872 yards.
He got Alabama to the National Championship Game before falling to Georgia, 33-18.
Stroud was also a freshman and threw for 4,435 yards and 44 touchdowns. He’ll look to lead Ohio State back to the Big Ten Championship Game and the College Football Playoff next season.
Anderson was a menace on Alabama’s defense this past season. He had 101 total tackles (57 solo) along with 17.5 sacks.
These three players will undoubtedly be difference-makers once the NFL comes calling.
