There are always some big names who go undrafted in the NFL Draft, but this year, one name seems to stand out.
Former Clemson Tigers star wide receiver Justyn Ross seemed like a lock to be a top 10 pick at the start of his college football career.
Ross looked like one of the best wide receivers in the country, primed for a top NFL Draft selection once he became eligible. The former Clemson star had some difficult injury history, though, and never got back to where he was at the start of his college career.
This weekend, Ross went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Fans are pretty shocked by what’s happened.
Here’s why I will never ever ever get mad about NIL or pay for play. 1, 2, 3 years ago, everybody knew Justyn Ross would be a first rounder. Now he’s undrafted.
Let them get as much money as they can, however they can, ASAP. If it “changes CFB” (which, questionable) whatever https://t.co/um5e58naMe— Rodger Sherman (@rodger) April 30, 2022
Reasonable concerns due to the surgery in 2020 and difficult circumstances last season, but whoever drafts Justyn Ross will be getting a steal.#NFLDraft pic.twitter.com/EUf7aCAi38

Can’t help but feel for Justyn Ross. Started his college career with such promise. Injuries prevented him from seeing the field in 2020. I hope he gets a chance somewhere.

Feel bad for Justyn Ross. At age 18 that guy was the best WR in a room with Tee Higgins, Hunter Renfrow and Amari Rodgers.

31 teams are gonna be SICK for passing on Justyn Ross. Absolutely disrespectful. Time will tell.

Justyn Ross somehow still on the board. Draft him pic.twitter.com/cB2wbc7NbU

Ok cool but when Justyn Ross is top 10 in a few years don’t be mad

Justyn Ross is the reason why NIL is critical. My man had an elite freshman year and looked like a lock to be a top 10 pick at some point but he has serious injuries after that season.

Hopefully the former Clemson Tigers wide receiver will get a chance with someone in the NFL moving forward.
