Some fans don’t like how the Saturday-Sunday NCAA Tournament games are spaced out.
There were only two games before 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, but that’s also what happens when there are fewer teams left.
The first game of the day was Houston-Illinois which started a little after 12 p.m. ET. After that, the Ohio State-Villanova game was played, which wrapped up after 4.
The third game of the day is now underway between Michigan State and Duke as it’s the final time Tom Izzo and Mike Krzyzewski will square off against each other.
Some fans do wish that the tip-off times were different.
I don’t understand the spacing out of NCAA Tournament games. It’s 4:30 on the first Sunday, I should be covered in basketball games right now.

I know. Why make the middle games overlap? It’s stupid. It’s Sunday. We want action all day

Should have a game start every hour

Definitely need a shorter more intense slate of games on Saturday and Sunday.

I want overlap. I got more than one screen. Give it to me. @MarchMadnessMBB

Said that this AM. How they don’t just space these games out by the hour is crazy to me. Have first one at 1, then 2, 3, ect

My thoughts exactly

Funny enough, fans will get to watch another game if they choose to during the Michigan State-Duke one. Iowa State-Wisconsin will tip-off at 6:10 p.m. ET.
After that game starts, Notre Dame-Texas Tech will start at 7:10 p.m. ET, followed by Miami-Auburn at 7:45 p.m. ET.
Perhaps the NCAA will have these games start earlier next year to appease fans that watch in the afternoon, rather than the evening.
