Another college football standout is headed to the league despite not being drafted. On Saturday night, the Ohio State Buckeyes announced that running back Master Teague is the newest addition to the Bears roster.
“TEEEAAAAGUE!!” Ohio State’s official account tweeted. “Master Teague has agreed to terms with [the] Chicago Bears #DevelopedHere.”

Over the course of his four-year Career at Ohio State, Master Teague rushed for 1,764 yards and 17 touchdowns across 323 carries.
His most productive season came in 2019 when he ran for over 700 yards and four scores. However, injuries and incoming recruits eventually pushed the RB down the depth chart where he received only 67 carries in 2021.
It didn’t stop Teague from taking a shot at the next level however. And now he finds himself playing with former Ohio State teammate Justin Fields once again.
At 5-11, 221-pounds, Teague is a big-bodied back with legitimate 4.4 speed. Had he went to the NFL Scouting Combine, his 27 reps on the bench press and 10’11” broad jump recorded at OSU’s pro day would’ve topped all RBs.
