Earlier this week, Jarvis Landry ended his partnership with Klutch Sports agent Damarius Bilbo. He then signed with Roosevelt Barnes and Jovan Barnes of ISE Worldwide.
Most NFL fans believe Landry ended his representation Klutch Sports because he remains unsigned. If that’s true, the reason he’s still on the open market might just be due to his asking price.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, Landry was hoping to land a contract with an annual salary of $20 million.
“Landry, we’re told, had hoped to get a contract in the range of $20 million per year,” Florio wrote. “Nearly two weeks into free agency, it won’t be easy to find that kind of money.”

This past season, Landry had 52 catches for 570 yards and two touchdowns.
Though his Pro Bowl days are most likely behind him, Landry remains an impact player. However, he’ll probably need to lower his asking price if he wants to receive multiple offers.
With so much movement at the wide receiver position this offseason, it’s highly unlikely a team will pay Landry $20 million for the 2022 season.
