Alexander Mattison in the game
Las Vegas Raiders running back Sincere McCormick suffered an injury and was seen limping into the locker room against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.
McCormick has been a breakout star for the Raiders over the last few weeks but was struggling to find breathing room tonight with seven carries for eight yards before suffering the injury. The offensive line has been struggling all night as Alexander Mattison entered the contest in relief and was stuffed on two carries for negative three yards, the last touch resulting in a safety to put the Falcons up 9-3.
Mattison had a rushing attempt earlier in the game that went for seven yards but resulted in a fumble. It appeared as if he was banged up on that play as well, but he was able to return once McCormick went down. Ameer Abdullah is also available to get touches out of the backfield as Abdullah has two rushes for seven yards.
McCormick has been ruled out for the game heading into the second half.
