Oh, this is good. According to a report by the Daily News, not only does Aaron Rodgers wants play for the Rams, but he is saying if they sign him, the Rams would essentially get Davante Adams as well.
Sources tell the Daily News that Aaron Rodgers prefers to play for the #Rams and that the outgoing Jets QB would bring Davante Adams with him once the Jets receiver becomes a free agent.
That can only happen if Matthew Stafford gets traded. Enter #Giants GM Joe Schoen, who plans… pic.twitter.com/CN6LMRYT7Z

There’s reason to believe Rodgers when he says it too. Adams forced a trade from his childhood team in Las Vegas to head out to New York to re-unite with him. Now the two California natives have the chance to re-re-unite in LA? Yeah, I could see it.
This is a reunion Raiders fans should be hoping for. Why? Well, it’s simple.
If the promise of Davante coming along is enough to get the Rams to go after Rodgers, it means they are for sure going to trade Matt Stafford.
The Raiders are the odds-on favorite to land Stafford and reports say the Raiders inquired about the Super Bowl winning QB once the Rams gave Stafford’s camp permission to seek out his market value.
There are a few reasons the Raiders have a very good shot of landing Stafford in a trade:
- They have a new head coach in Pete Carroll who wants an immediate solution at QB.
- They have the second most salary cap available
- They have have among the most draft capital this year
And, of course, the other benefit to Rodgers going to the Rams is it means for sure he won’t be suiting up in Silver & Black. Even though it would be hard to believe the Raiders could possibly be interested in that vibe-killer in their locker room, no one should rest easy until he’s officially wearing another uniform.
