The Philadelphia Eagles bolstered their receiving corps on Thursday night, acquiring star wideout A.J. Brown in a trade with the Tennessee Titans.
Brown, who was set to enter the 2022 season on an expiring contract, has already agreed to a four-year, $100 million extension that includes $57 million guaranteed.
Since entering the league in 2019, Brown has 185 catches for 2,995 yards and 24 touchdowns. He’s truly one of the best playmakers in the NFL.
Shortly after this trade was announced, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts shared his thoughts on the move on Twitter.
Let’s just say Hurts is thrilled that Brown is joining the Eagles:

The addition of Brown should only help the Eagles’ passing attack, and obviously that’s great news for Hurts.
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Hurts’ future with the Eagles. If he performs well this fall, he’ll most likely erase any doubts about his ability to be a franchise quarterback.
We’ll find out this fall if Brown and Hurts can hit the ground running in the City of Brotherly Love.
