It didn’t take long for Jim Nantz to have a memorable line after the Duke-Michigan State game on Sunday.
Duke survived a big scare against MSU and is now off to the Sweet 16 where it’ll likely get Texas Tech.
After the win, Nantz let out that big line about Coach K.
“The music is still playing for Coach K’s last dance,” Nantz said.

How long was Jim Nantz workshopping that last night in hotel room??? 🤌

Of course, that refers to Coach K retiring at the end of this season. He’s trying to win one more National Championship so he can ride off into the sunset.
The Spartans erased a nine-point deficit in the second half and even had a five-point lead before the Blue Devils rallied. Perhaps the biggest shot of the game came from Jeremy Roach.
Duke was up one at the time with a couple of minutes remaining when Roach hit a massive three-pointer to put the team up four. After that, Michigan State never came close to taking the lead back.
The Blue Devils will be back in action next Thursday or Friday.
