Foreman logged his best career NFL season with Tennessee in 2021. The former third-round pick took over as the Titans’ starting running back following a regular-season-ending injury for Derrick Henry in Week 8. Through nine appearances and three starts, he logged 566 yards and three touchdowns on 133 carries.
The Panthers struggled with running back depth in 2021 as a result of the nagging injury issues for superstar starter Christian McCaffrey. With their lead rusher out, rookie RB Chuba Hubbard was forced to step up as the team’s leader in the backfield. The midseason acquisition of Ameer Abdullah also helped bolster an otherwise weak depth chart.
McCaffrey’s health status in 2022 will no doubt play a major role in the amount of time Foreman sees on the field this coming season.
