Or is an upgrade needed?
Jakobi Meyers deserves a lot of credit for the work he’s done in an odd season for the Las Vegas Raiders.
Meyers, of course, entered the 2024 season as the No. 2 wide receiver in his second season with the Silver and Black after signing as a free agent from the New England Patriots.
But Meyers was thrust into the top receiver role in October when things went haywire with star wide receiver Davante Adams, who ended up being traded to the New York Jets.
Meyers was never considered a top receiver option, but he is a tough, gritty player and he has delivered some strong games, while fighting through injuries, as the top receiver in an Adams-less offense.
The Raiders will have a lot of needs in the 2025 offseason. Wide receiver may be one of them.
Do you think Las Vegas should aim to get a true No.1 to replace Adams, which would make Meyers the No. 2 again or do you think Meyers has shown he’s a quality No. 1 receiver?
