Should Raiders show interest in former Seattle coach?
The NFL head-coaching carousel is days away from spinning in full force and some names are already circulating.
Last week, ESPN reported that former Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll (who sat out this season after the Seahawks parted ways with him after last season) is interested in returning the sidelines in 2025.
So, he is certainly an interesting name to consider for any team looking for a new coach for 2025.
There is a chance the Las Vegas Raiders will be among the teams looking for a new coach. There is no guarantee Raiders owner Mark Davis will keep coach Antonio Pierce after this season.
If the Raiders do fire Pierce would you like to see Carroll be a serious candidate to become the Raiders’ next head coach?
He is a Super Bowl-winning head coach who often had the Seahawks among the the top contenders in the league. He is known as a strong defensive mind and he is a high-energy, players’ coach.
Carroll is 73 and that may not interest some teams because Carroll could be interested in a short-term tenure with a team.
Do you think he’s a fit for the Raiders if they need a coach?
