Meanwhile, as expected, Raiders’ star pass-rusher Maxx Crosby is active Sunday at the Denver Broncos. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. PT.
Crosby practiced on a limited basis Friday with hopes of playing Sunday. He was listed as questionable on the injury report. He missed the first two days of practice this week and he missed the first game of his career last week with a high-ankle sprain.
Meanwhile, Pierce said rookie Tommy Eichenberg will start for the first time. Both starter Deablo and his backup Luke Masterson (he’s now on the injured reserve) have been injured. Eichenberg, a fifth-round pick, has bene playing some on defense in recent weeks. He has played a total of 16 defensive snaps the past two weeks. That total will increase greatly this week.
In addition running back Zamir White (groin) and Masterson receiver Davante Adams (hamstring), tackle Thayer Munford (knee/ankle), Decamerion Richardson (hamstring) and tight end Michael Mayer (personal) were ruled out Friday.
