Defensive backs coach returns to Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders have hired Pete Carroll as their new head coach. He built his new staff. He has hired Marcus Robertson as the defensive backs coach.

He was the defensive backs coach of the New Orleans Saints the past two seasons.
Coaching experience:
Robertson has been an NFL coach since 2007.
Playing experience:
Robertson was drafted in the fourth round out of Iowa State by the Houston Oilers in 1991. He played for 12 seasons as a safety for Houston, Tennessee and Seattle. He was an All-Pro in 1993.
Raiders experience:
Robertson was an assistant defensive backs and defensive backs coach of the Oakland Raiders from 2014-16. Hall of Fame defensive back Charles Woodson loves playing for him.
Ties to Raiders’ staff:
Robertson worked with new Raiders’ pass-game coordinator Joe Woods with the Raiders, Denver and New Orleans.
