Fans approve if offensive coach returns to Raiders
There has has been media reports that Tom Cable could join the Las Vegas Raiders’ coaching staff for the third time.
Among the names he could be considering is Tom Cable as the offensive line coach. The Athletic recently reported Cable could be on Carroll’s radar.
Cable is certainly a familiar name to both Carroll and the Raiders.
Carroll was the Raiders’ offensive line coach in 2007-08. He finished the ‘08 season as the interim head coach and then was kept for the 2009-10 season as the head coach. He came back as the Raiders’ offensive line coach from 2018-21.
Cable was Carroll’s offensive line coach with the Seattle Seahawks from 2011-17.
Cable, 60, hasn’t coached since leaving the Raiders’ in 2021.
This week, we asked our community members if they would be on board if the Raiders hired Graham. In a poll with 2,390 votes cast, 1,298 votes (54 percent), while 1,092 votes (46 percent) have had enough of Cable in the Silver and Black.
