The Las Vegas Raiders have hired Pete Carroll as their new head coach. He built his new staff. He has hired Bob Bicknell as a senior offensive coach.

His father, Jack Bicknell, was the head coach at Boston College where Bob Bicknell played and began his coaching career.
Ties to Raiders’ staff:
Bicknell was the wide receivers coach for new Las Vegas offensive coordinator Chip Kelly all four of his NFL seasons as a head coach, three with the Philadelphia Eagles (2013-15) and the San Francisco 49ers (2016).
Why the Raiders would hire him:
Robertson is highly experienced as an NFL coach. Kelly clearly trusts him and is comfortable with working with Bicknell.
