Dolphins control game

- On the the second play of the game, Raiders cornerback Jakorian Bennett hurt his shoulder and he left the game. Rookie Decamarion Richardson replaced Bennett. The Raiders are already playing without nickel corner Nate Hobbs, who is out with an ankle injury .Bennett was ruled out in the third quarter. The Raiders’ other starting cornerback Jack Jones was hurt in the fourth quarter. They were down to Richardson, Darnay Holmes and Sam Webb.
- The Dolphins went 70 yards on 14 plays in 8:13 to score on fourth and 1 on the opening drive to take a 7-0 lead.
- The Raiders went three-and-out on their first offensive series under interim offensive coordinator Scott Turner, but the Raiders were bailed on a roughing the punter call. The Raiders went down on converted a 27-yard field goal by Daniel Carlson with eight seconds remaining in the first quarter,
- The Dolphins went 16 plays on their second drive (they ran 30 plays on their first two drives) and it ended with a field goal to take a 10-3 lead with 6:46 to go in the first half.

- After the Raiders punted on their first drive of the third quarter, The Dolphins went on a 14-play drive, culminating in a Tyreek Hill touchdown to give Miami a 17-6 lead with 4:13 remaining in the third quarter.

- Brock Bowers had a 23-yard touchdown catch with 1:21 in the third quarter. The Raiders went for two points, but didn’t convert.
- The Dolphins took a 24-12 lead with 10:37 to go in the game. The Dolphins scored four of five drives.
- Raiders’ running back Alexander Mattison was carted off the field in the fourth quarter.
- On third down, Raiders’ running back Ameer Abdullah scored a short touchdown to cut Miami’s lead to 24-19 with 4:23 remaining.
- The Dolphins scored on a long touchdown by tight end Jonnu Smith to take a 31-19 lead with 3:19 to go.
