Pete Carroll has a new offensive coordinator
It was a big, surprising move as Carroll and the Raiders made Kelly the highest-paid offensive coordinator in the NFL to sway him away from the national champion Buckeyes.
Kelly, 61, is a well respected offensive mind known for his innovation.
He certainly has the experience and reputation as a strong offensive mind. He has 10 years as a college head (at Oregon and at UCLA) and Kelly, who former Raiders coach Antonio Peirce tried to hire last year, has four years experience as an NFL head coach
However, he has been far more successful in the college ranks and he hasn’t coached in the NFL since 2016.
How do you feel about the Raiders hiring Kelly? Do you think he will elevate the Silver and Black’s offense or are you worried about his lack of success in the NFL?
