There are some decent early possible candidates
The Las Vegas Raiders will likely be in the market for a new offensive coordinator in early 2025 after last week’s decision to part ways with offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, offensive line coach James Cregg and quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello.
We’re not even in the first stages of the search and perhaps interim offensive coordinator Scott Turner, who was previously the Raiders’ pass-game coordinator, will do enough to keep the job. Also, the list will evolve as potential candidates will be became available in the coming months who may not be a logical candidate now.
But last week, we looked at some potential early candidates and there will clearly be many more as coaches come and go around the NFL and the college ranks.
Here are some possible names:
- Joe Bleymaier, Kansas City Chiefs passing-game coordinator.
- Marcus Brady, Los Angeles Chargers pass-game coordinator
- Todd Downing, New York Jets passing-game coordinator:
- Tanner Engstrand, Detroit Lions’ passing-game coordinator.
- Josh Grizzard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers passing-game coordinator.
- Chip Kelly, Ohio State offensive coordinator.
- Klint Kubiak, New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator.
- Josh McCown, Minnesota Vikings’ quarterbacks coach.
- Scottie Montgomery, Detroit Lions’ running backs coach/associate head coach.
- Kevin Patullo, Philadelphia Eagles passing-game coordinator/associate head coach.
