After a Friday jam packed with head coach interviews with current NFL coordinators, the Raiders will welcome some former head coaches next week. Along with former Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, the Raiders will hold an interview with former Jets head coach Robert Saleh next Thursday. This according to NFL media’s Ian Rapoport.

Saleh spent four seasons as the head coach in New York. He went 20-36. The 2023 season was lost due to an injury to Aaron Rodgers in the season opener. Last season, with Rodgers behind center, they started the season 2-3 and Saleh was axed. Then they went 3-9 the rest of the way under interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich.
Prior to Saleh getting the head job with the Jets, he spent four years as the defensive coordinator with the 49ers, the last two leading a top five defensive unit.
