New Las Vegas general manager makes changes to his supporting staff
In unsurprising news, new Las Vegas Raiders general manager John Spytek is shaking up some aspects of the team’s front office he took over last month.
The Athletic reported Friday afternoon that the Raiders have dismissed senior director of player personnel JoJo Wooden and senior national scout DuJuan Daniels.
The #Raiders let go of senior director of player personnel JoJo Wooden and senior national scout Dujuan Daniels, per sources. Wooden joined the staff in 2024 under former GM Tom Telesco. Daniels had been with the franchise since 2019. GM John Spytek is reconfiguring things.

Often, in the NFL, when a new general manager takes over, there are personnel changes in the front office. So, there could be some more movement between after the draft, when many such moves are made. Expect Spytek to bring in his own staff members.
Wooden basically was put in limbo when Tom Telesco was fired as Las Vegas’ general manager last month as the Raiders kicked off their search to replace fired head coach Antonio Pierce. Telesco hired Wooden, a close co-worker from their days together with the Los Angeles Chargers, shortly after he was hired by the Raiders last year.
Daniels spent five seasons with the Raiders and was previously their assistant director of player personnel.
