Raiders fans have a small rise in confidence after the firing of Pierce and Telesco
The Las Vegas Raiders decided to move on from head coach Antonio Pierce. After the 4-13 season, the end of the season run was insufficient to allow Pierce to keep his job.
The next day Tom Telesco was the next victim of the Tom Brady era. He was let go for the Raiders to have the chance to have the right general manager and head coach combo.
Now, the search is on for the next head coach and GM for the Raiders. They have already interviewed for head coaches and are looking to change the culture of losing. Mark Davis will use Tom Brady for guidance to find the best leader for a roster full of young potential at certain positions.
In this week’s SB Nation reacts, we ask the Raider Nation what confidence is in the team’s direction. Raider Nation has had a small rise in confidence after the losing season, going from 32% to 34%.
There will be big changes for Raiders fans this offseason, with a full rebuild on the horizon. While the QB position upgrade will be tough sitting at sixth in the draft, the rest of the roster will see an increase. It will be interesting to see if Brady is not only helping Davis make a decision but also the right decision.
