We all have a thumbnail knowledge of Geno Smith’s career.
The former first-round pick struggled early, became a journeyman but he suddenly flourished in his 30s with the Seattle Seahawks. He has been an above-average performer in the past few seasons and new Raiders coach Pete Carroll is thrilled to work with his former Seahawks’ starter again.

While Smith’s play under inside is exciting, he is also joining the Raiders on a hot streak. According to Statmuse.com, Smith had a passer rating of 106.5 with 1,079 passing yards with eight touchdown passes and three interceptions in his last five games of the season.
