Raiders truck gold at draft slot before
With a miserable 2024 season over for the Las Vegas Raiders, who went 4-13, is over.
The focus is now squarely on 2025 and the future. A big part of that future is the NFL draft, which will be held April 24-26.
The Raiders have the No. 6 pick.
It is the second time in team history that the Raiders hold the sixth pick. That worked out pretty well.
The Raiders took wide receiver Tim Brown at No. 6 in the 1998 draft. The Heisman Trophy winner from Notre Dame went onto have a Pro Fooball Hall of Fame career for the Silver and Black and played for the franchise for 16 seasons.
The Raiders would surely take that type of success from their second pick at No. 6.
