A silver lining in Cincinnati
It hasn’t been a great season for the Las Vegas Raiders who lost their fifth straight game Sunday at the Cincinnati Bengals in a 41-24 defeat in Week 9 on Sunday.
Yet, there was a sliver of hope for the Raiders to build upon as they return from their bye week in Week 11 at the Miami Dolphins on November 17.
Each week, Pro Football Focus announces an All-Team PFF at all 22 positions based on player grades.
Raiders rookie center Jackson Powers-Johnson and cornerback Jack Jones were each honored for their play in Week 9 by the website.

Powers-Johnson excelled in his first start at center, playing for the injured Andre James. The second-round pick from Oregon has ben starting at guard, but many scouts thinks center may be his best position and this performance is a nice indication.
Jones, who has a Pick Six against the Bengals, has been inconsistent this season, but perhaps this was a sign of good things to come.
In other Raiders’ news:
- Plunkett at terms: Raiders’ legendary quarterback Jim Plunkett is at peace with Pro Football Hall of Fame fate.
- QB coming? PFF thinks the Raiders could draft a high-profile quarterback in 2025.
- Move forward: The Raiders now at 2-7 they must not look back, but only straight ahead.
