Raiders will be without Crosby for the next 4 games with surgery on the horizion for the pass rusher
Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby has been a consistent presence on the football field. Since joining the Raiders, he has only missed one game and plays almost every snap with an incredible motor.
However, that one game was this season when he missed Week 4 vs. the Cleveland Browns. An ankle injury sidelined the superstar pass rusher, but he recovered and has played every week since.
This week, Crosby surprisingly appeared on the injury report. He finished the game vs. Tampa Bay with no noticeable issues that would make people think he would be sidelined. After missing practice all week, it was announced that Crosby would be missing Week 15 vs. the Atlanta Falcons. Even worse news appeared moments later, stating that Crosby would be out the rest of the season, needing surgery on his ankle.

When the Raiders entered training camp, Crosby, Christian Wilkins, and Malcolm Koonce were supposed to lead the defense. All three are on IR, displaying the injuries piling up on the Silver and Black all season. Antonio Pierce will have to find a way to win without his star pass rusher.
