ESPN has Raiders trading up
The Las Vegas Raiders needed a quarterback prior to the April draft and they will need one in next year’s draft.
So, when ESPN recently conducted a redraft of the 2024 draft, it’s no surprise it had the Raiders doing what they didn’t do in the real draft — ESPN traded up to take a quarterback.
The exercise had the Raiders trading up from No. 13 to No. 8 to select Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr . at No. 8 in a trade with the Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta, of course, took Penix at No. 8 and he is sitting behind starter Kirk Cousins.

It’s an interesting move and, of course, it’s hindsight.
What do you think. Would rather have Penix or Brock Bowers and the need for a quarterback next year?
