Sportsbook expects star running back to land in Las Vegas
It’s just not the mock drafters who believe the Las Vegas Raiders will use the No. 6 overall pick in the draft on April 24 on Boise State star running back Ashton Jeanty.
Add the betting oddsmakers to that camp as well.
According to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook, the Raiders are the betting favorite to draft Jeanty, who is visiting the team Tuesday. They are +105 to draft Jeanty, making them the overwhelming favorite to land Jeanty, who is considered a potential generational talent.
Behind Las Vegas, the Chicago Bears (who pick 10th), Dallas Cowboys (12th) and New Orleans Saints (9th) are the other teams oddsmakers consider the teams most likely to select Jeanty.
Because the oddsmakers make the Raiders the heavy favorite to draft Jeanty, running back is also the position FanDuel thinks the team is most likely to address at No. 6 at the price of +105. It is followed by wide receiver and cornerback (both at 6-1), defensive and offensive line (+650) and quarterback (9-1).
