Mark Davis is using a search firm to help fill in his vacancy at GM and head coach
The Las Vegas Raiders are seeking a new general manager and head coach. Mark Davis and Tom Brady had a plan to build the football team, but Antonio Pierce and Tom Telesco did not fit into the future. Both were let go this week, leaving the Raiders with vacancies
On Friday, The Raiders started their interviews of head coaches with Aaron Glen and Ben Johnson. While Mark Davis will make the final decision, He has decided to look for outside help. Davis has hired a firm to help with his search.
Jed Hughes is from a search firm called Korn Ferry. He has a history of finding the right coaches for teams to be successful. Davis has decided to turn to a person with his track record to help the franchise become respectable.
The #Raiders hired Jed Hughes of search firm Korn Ferry to help compile GM and HC candidates. Hughes helped the placements of the following HCs:
– Pete Carroll with the Seahawks
– Andy Reid with the Chiefs
– Jim Harbaugh at Michigan
– Bruce Arians with the BucsNot bad.

With Hughes’s expertise in finding the right fit for head coach and GM, Davis made a smart move. It’s a franchise that needs a boost after continuous struggles. Hopefully, Hughes can help them pick the right candidate to right the ship.
