CBS Sports mock has Raiders making big trade up
When he and new general manager John Spytek were introduced last month, new Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll said the team will be aggressive to achieve it’s goal of winning in the immediate future.
Carroll and Spytek has followed that vow up by being aggressive in building the coaching and front-office staffs.
Apparently, CBS Sports has been paying attention.
In a recent mock draft, this CBS Sports mock has the Raiders trading up from No. 6 to No. 2 with the Cleveland Browns to take Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
That would be a blockbuster. The mock doesn’t say what exactly the Raiders would have to give up (other than the No. 6 pick) to make this huge deal happen.
Here’s a hint: it won’t be cheap. But if Carroll and Spytek think Sanders is the answer, perhaps they will try to make this mock a real Raiders’ draft.
In other Raiders news:
- More mock talk: The Raiders do not get a quarterback in this PFF mock.
