Las Vegas Raiders safety Tre’von Moehrig is set earn a significant raise when the tampering begins on Monday
The Las Vegas Raiders selected Tre’von Moehrig in the final draft of Jon Gruden’s era. Moehrig was a fit for the system then and displayed his promise during his rookie season.
After not meeting expectations in the next two seasons, Moehrig found his groove in 2024. He moved closer to the line of scrimmage, exhibiting versatility, and had a strong year making impact blitzing and the run game.
With the free agency tampering period starting Monday, Moehrig can hit the market. He is set to earn a significant pay raise for his efforts, which could be too expensive for the Raiders.
There are people around the league that are very interested in what safety Tre’Von Moehrig will fetch. Some believe he could be a player that ends up cashing in above what was expected. Found a home closer to the LOS last year and is just 25 years old.

John Spytek has been busy trading for Geno Smith this week and re-signing Adam Butler to a new contract. Moehrig is a player. There will be a final push to help keep a homegrown player starting to reach their potential. If he can seal the deal with the former TCU Horned Frog, it can instill even more confidence from fans with Spytek’s performance.
