The Pittsburgh Steelers have already made some pretty savvy signings this offseason, and it appears they’re not done yet.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Steelers are signing linebacker Myles Jack to a two-year, $16 million deal.
Jack was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this week. That move saved the front office roughly $8.35 million in cap space.
Coming out of UCLA, Jack was an explosive linebacker capable of playing all three downs. Though he’s coming off somewhat of a down year, he’s still young enough to reinvent his game in Pittsburgh.
Former Jaguars’ LB Myles Jack is expected to sign a two-year, $16 million deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, per source.

During his six-year run with the Jaguars, Jack had 513 combined tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 15 pass breakups, 6.5 sacks, three interceptions and two forced fumbles.
Jack will join a linebacker room that includes Devin Bush, Alex Highsmith and T.J. Watt.
If Jack can revert to his 2020 form, this will go down as a really nice signing for the Steelers.
In addition to the Jack signing, the Steelers have added James Daniels, Chukwuma Okorafor, Mitch Trubisky and Levi Wallace to their roster this free agency period.
