The Tennessee Titans didn’t take long to shuffle around their quarterback room following the conclusion of the 2022 NFL Draft. Per NFL insider Field Yates, the Titans have cut veteran quarterback Kevin Hogan.
On Saturday morning, Tennessee had four quarterbacks on the roster after drafting Malik Willis Friday. That list also included Ryan Tannehill, Kevin Hogan and Logan Woodside.
Hogan became the odd man out. The Titans released him on Saturday, sparking a number of reactions from fans.
“After drafting Malik Willis in the third round, the Titans have released veteran QB Kevin Hogan, per source,” Yates tweeted.

Willis figures to enter the 2022 season as a backup to Tannehill with Woodside running third string.
The idea is that Willis will become the Titans’ franchise quarterback at some point down the road. If Tannehill can’t get Tennessee to the big game this upcoming season he might be shown the exit.
Expectations are high in Music City for this upcoming season.
