The day before Tom Brady announced his return to the NFL, someone paid over $500,000 for what was supposed to be the final touchdown pass of the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s career.
Obviously, the value of that ball fell off a cliff once the NFL world found out that Brady is returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for at least another season.
Although the person that paid for Brady’s touchdown pass to Mike Evans must be frustrated with this whole situation, it appears Brady is trying to make things right.
On Friday afternoon, Brady tweeted, “Hey FTX…could we donate a Bitcoin to the charity of this person’s choice?” His tweet included a very clever video.

At least this would soften the blow of spending $518,628 on a football.
This isn’t the first time that Brady has offered a Bitcoin to an NFL fan. He gave a Buccaneers fan a Bitcoin for giving up his 600th career touchdown pass.
